How to join vateir?

1 - Join VATSIM, VATeir is the Irish Division of VATSIM. You can register at www.VATSIM.net.

2 - When registered go to Member Services -> Select a Division in a Region. Here select Europe (except UK) division

3 - Download a radar client - VRC is the current client of choice - you can find that here - www.metacraft.com

4 - Once you have your VATSIM ID and Password and have downloaded VRC you can log on as an observer. You need at least seven days as an observer before you can become a student one.

5 - To become a student one and start you controller training you need to pass a written exam. To do this visit the VATeud training department - this can be found here - VATEUD Training Department - The exams can be found under "Upgrade Request"

6 - Once you have passed this exam contact training(at)VATeir.com to commence your controller practical training.

In the mean time please join the VATeir forums if you haven't already done so. Your login should be in the format:
FirstName SecondName VATSIM ID, e.g. Joe Bloggs 1022345.

The forum is a useful way of asking questions, gaining information and getting to know those who you will be controlling with.
